Instructions for enabling cookies

Use these instructions for enabling cookies and clearing the cache for some common web browsers. If yours isn't listed here, look in your browser's help menu for instructions on how to enable cookies.

If these instructions don't resolve the problem, please check your internet security software. Some security packages filter browser cookies, so you'll have to either turn off cookie filtering or add gerrygrossman.com to your "trusted" list.

For computers running Microsoft Windows...
If you use Internet Explorer as your web browser:
1) Open an Internet Explorer window and click on the Tools menu at the top.
2) From the Tools menu, choose Internet Options.
3) A window will open up with a row of tabs across the top. Choose Privacy.
4) You should now see a slider - move it down until the setting is "Medium". Click the Apply button at the bottom. This changes your cookies setting to a safe level that allows legitimate cookies to work.
5) Click the General tab at the top of the window.
6) You should now see a section in the middle titled Temporary Internet Files. Click the "Delete Files..." button.
7) If you see a message prompt letting you choose to Delete all offline content, put a check in its box then click OK. This will clear out your outdated internet files, and it could take up to a minute or so to finish.
8) When the hourglass goes away, click the OK button on the Internet Options window to send it away, then close Internet Explorer itself.
9) At this point I recommend rebooting your computer because on some systems the new cookie setting won't "take" until the computer is restarted.
